Pre-Tour

Arrival at Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport, followed by pick-up and transfer to the lodge you booked. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short Arusha city tour and cultural walk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge you booked.

Day 1: Arusha City – Tarangire National Park

Morning pickup from Arusha City after breakfast. Begin your journey through scenic Maasai villages toward Tarangire National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s iconic baobab trees, vast savannah, and the Tarangire River. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, lions, leopards, and more than 400 bird species. Lunch will be a picnic inside the park at a designated site. In the evening, the chef will prepare a fresh hot dinner. After your game drive, head to Kankari/Country Lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, drive through the Great Rift Valley escarpment and across the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views. Continue onward to Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and the Big Five. Enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to Shuhudia Tented Camp. A hot, freshly prepared dinner will be served at night. Dinner and overnight at the campsite under the starry Serengeti skies.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Begin with an early morning game drive at sunrise when predators are most active. Explore the central Serengeti (Seronera area), famous for year-round wildlife activity. Look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park. Continue your afternoon game drive across the plains and kopjes. Return to Shuhudia Tented Camp for dinner and overnight. A hot freshly prepared dinner will be served.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti with a morning game drive on your way out. Cross the plains with wildlife viewing en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at Simba Public Campsite on the crater rim for stunning caldera views. Your chef will prepare dinner at night. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge or Ngorongoro Wild Camp.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu

Begin with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor, one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. Have a picnic lunch at the hippo poolside picnic area. In the late evening, drive back to your lodge, arriving for dinner and overnight at Kankari/Country Lodge.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha City

After breakfast, drive a short distance to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions, flocks of flamingos on its alkaline lake, and large troops of baboons in the forest. Enjoy a game drive through the groundwater forest, open savannah, and lakeshore habitat rich with birdlife and wildlife. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon. Drop-off at Tulia Boutique & Spa for overnight, or proceed to the airport depending on your onward plans.

Day 7: Arusha City – Arusha National Park

After breakfast at your hotel, your driver-guide will pick you up at around 08:00 AM for a 45-minute drive to Arusha National Park. Begin your game drive through the park’s varied landscapes, from lush forests around Mount Meru to open savannah and the Momella Lakes. Expect to see giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, buffalos, warthogs, and numerous bird species including flamingos. You may also encounter black-and-white colobus monkeys and, with luck, elephants. After a short game drive, embark on a walking safari with an armed ranger to get close to giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife on foot. Continue with game-viewing en route to lunch at a designated picnic site.

In the afternoon (2:00–3:00 PM), continue game driving or enjoy short hikes near the Ngurdoto Crater, often referred to as the “Little Ngorongoro.” In the evening (around 3–4 PM), drive back to Arusha City and return to your hotel or proceed to the airport depending on your travel plans. If you are staying in Arusha, you will be dropped at the lodge you booked; if flying the same day, you will be transferred to the airport.
