Pre-Tour

• Arrival at Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport.
• Pick up and transfer to Karibu Heritage House.
• Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short Arusha City Tour and cultural walk.
• Dinner and Overnight at Karibu Heritage House.

Day 1: Arusha City – Tarangire National Park

• Morning pickup from Arusha City after breakfast.
• Drive through scenic Maasai villages towards Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hrs).
• Full-day game drive exploring the park’s famous baobab trees, vast savannah, and the life-giving Tarangire River.
• Spot large herds of elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, lions, leopards, and over 400 bird species.
• Picnic lunch inside the park at a designated site.
• At night the chef will serve a hot, freshly prepared dinner.
• Evening drive to Fig Big Tree Lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
• Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park

• Early breakfast, then drive through the Great Rift Valley escarpment and across the Ngorongoro Highlands.
• Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views.
• Continue your journey to Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and the Big 5.
• Afternoon game drive en route to the Seronera Public Campsite.
• The guide/chef will assist you in setting and dismantling the tent each evening/morning to help you connect with nature at night.
• At night the chef will serve a hot, freshly prepared dinner.
• Dinner and overnight at the campsite under the starry Serengeti skies.
• Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

• Early morning game drive at sunrise when predators are most active.
• Explore the central Serengeti (Seronera area), famous for year-round wildlife activity.
• Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and endless herds of wildebeest and zebras.
• Packed picnic lunch enjoyed at a scenic spot inside the park.
• Afternoon game drive continues through the plains and kopjes.
• Return to Seronera Public Campsite for dinner and overnight.
• The guide/chef will assist you in setting and dismantling the tent each evening/morning to help you connect with nature at night.
• At night the chef will serve a hot, freshly prepared dinner.
• Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

• Early breakfast, then morning game drive as you depart Serengeti.
• Drive across the plains with wildlife viewing en route towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Arrive at Simba Public Campsite, located on the crater rim, offering stunning views into the caldera.
• The guide/chef will assist you in setting and dismantling the tent each evening/morning to help you connect with nature at night.
• At night the chef will serve a hot, freshly prepared dinner.
• Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.
• Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu

• Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Enjoy a half-day game drive in the crater floor, one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino.
• Picnic lunch at the hippo poolside picnic area.
• Late evening drive back to your lodge, arriving in the evening.
• Dinner and overnight at Fig Big Tree Lodge.
• Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha City

• Morning: After breakfast, drive a short distance to Lake Manyara National Park. This lush park lies at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment and is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flocks of flamingos, and troops of baboons.
• Game Drive: Explore the groundwater forest alive with monkeys and birdlife, open savannah where giraffes and elephants roam, and the lakeshore full of aquatic species.
• Lunch: Picnic inside the park.
• Afternoon: Drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon. Drop-off at Karibu Heritage House for overnight or airport transfer depending on your onward plans.
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 7: Arusha City – Arusha National Park

• Morning (08:00 AM): After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your driver-guide will pick you up and drive for about 45 minutes to Arusha National Park.
• Game Drive & Scenery: Begin your game drive through diverse landscapes—from the lush forests on the lower slopes of Mount Meru to the open savannah and Momella Lakes.
• Wildlife Spotting: Expect to see giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, buffalos, warthogs, and many bird species including flamingos. If lucky, you may spot elephants. The park is also famous for black-and-white colobus monkeys.
• Walking Safari: After a short game drive, enjoy a guided walking safari with an armed ranger. Get close to giraffes, zebras, and other animals on foot, then have lunch at a scenic picnic site.
• Lunch: Picnic lunch inside the park at a designated site with a beautiful view.
• Afternoon (2:00 – 3:00 PM): Continue game driving or short hikes near Ngurdoto Crater, often called “Little Ngorongoro,” spotting varieties of flamingos.
• Evening (3:00 – 4:00 PM): Drive back to Arusha City and return to your hotel or transfer to the airport depending on your travel plans.
• If still in Arusha, accommodation at Karibu Heritage House.
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Post-Tour

• Drop-off at Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport or hotel of your choice.
