Day 1: Zanzibar → Serengeti
- Morning: Pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar to catch your 8:00 a.m. flight to Serengeti. Upon arrival (between 10:00–11:00 a.m.), meet your driver-guide and start your transfer to Serengeti National Park. Your guide will welcome you, assist with boarding the safari jeep, and begin your first game drive.
- Game Drive: Explore the Central Serengeti, spotting giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly lions on the hunt.
- Lunch: Around 1:00 p.m., enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site before continuing with an afternoon game drive en route toward the Northern Serengeti.
- Evening: Check in at Serengeti Haven Migration Camp for dinner and overnight under the starlit skies.
- Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner.
- 05:30 a.m.: Early wake-up with coffee or tea, then depart for a sunrise game drive. The Northern Serengeti is famous for big cat sightings and the migration of wildebeest and zebras.
- Morning: Track predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, while observing elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes roaming the open plains.
- 1:00 p.m.: Enjoy a hot picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by nature.
- Afternoon: Continue exploring river areas where hippos and crocodiles can be seen. Optionally visit seasonal watering holes.
- Evening: Sunset game drive for stunning photography and wildlife observation, followed by dinner and overnight at Serengeti Safari Haven Migration Camp.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
- 05:30 a.m.: Depart for an early sunrise game drive in the Northern Serengeti. Around 10:00 a.m., begin your game drive en route toward the Central Serengeti.
- Game Drive: Track lions, cheetahs, and leopards while spotting herds of zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and occasionally hyenas. Learn about animal behavior and predator-prey interactions from your guide.
- 1:00 p.m.: Picnic lunch in a scenic area inside the park.
- Afternoon: Explore more of the Serengeti, observing elephants, giraffes, and rhinos in protected areas. Optional short walking safari with a professional ranger to experience birds and smaller wildlife.
- Evening: Return to Serengeti Wildcamp for dinner and overnight in your tented lodge.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
- 05:30 a.m.: Early morning coffee or tea followed by an extended sunrise game drive.
- Morning: Focus on spotting the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Observe cheetahs, wild dogs, and hyenas in their natural habitat.
- 1:00 p.m.: Picnic lunch inside the park.
- Afternoon: Optional short game drive or relaxation at camp. The afternoon offers beautiful golden light for photography.
- Evening: Enjoy sundowner drinks in the bush before returning to Serengeti Wildcamp for dinner and overnight.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
- Morning: Breakfast at 8:00 a.m., followed by packing and checkout.
- 09:30 a.m.: Transfer to the Serengeti airstrip for your flight back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, and onward to Zanzibar.
- Afternoon: Arrival in Zanzibar. End of safari.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast included.
