Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha after breakfast and drive through beautiful Maasai plains toward Tarangire National Park, known as the “Home of Elephants.” The park is famous for its massive baobab trees and large herds of elephants, often seen strolling along the Tarangire River.
During your morning and afternoon game drives, expect to see lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, and a variety of bird species. Tarangire hosts one of Africa’s largest concentrations of wildlife outside the Serengeti, especially during the dry season.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at a scenic spot surrounded by wildlife. Later in the day, drive to your lodge near Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Kankari Lodge / Country Lodge
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater — often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Spend the morning exploring this unique ecosystem where over 25,000 animals roam freely. The crater floor is home to black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, buffaloes, and flamingos that line the shores of the soda lake.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, surrounded by incredible scenery and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Overnight: Kankari Lodge / Country Lodge

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most diverse ecosystems. The park features lush groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, and the beautiful alkaline lake — home to flamingos and a wide variety of birdlife.
During your game drive, you may encounter tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, warthogs, and giraffes. The park’s contrasting landscapes make it perfect for photography and birdwatching enthusiasts.
Enjoy your picnic lunch inside the park, then begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon. End of safari with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s northern wildlife circuit.
